Would you believe this will be my 8th year of keeping a tab on the books that I read?
Here’s a little recap of the numbers for each year so far:
2018: 30 // 2019: 57 // 2020: 57 // 2021: 63 // 2022: 65 // 2023: 59 // 2024: 39
As I said at the end of my 2024 list, I’m not sure how I managed to read 20 less books than the previous year, so I’m going to have to pick up my pace again in 2025 to make up for it. There are so many good books out there to read and only so much time! I’m going to try for more audiobooks – it’s such an easy way to get more novels in, especially if you spend as much time in the car as I do. And I will fight you (with words, not my fists 😉) if you try to tell me audio is not reading, because it most certainly is!
That said, let’s get the list started:

And so there we have it. I still only listened to 4 audiobooks this year when I said I wanted to listen to more, but I find that keeping up with the podcasts I enjoy takes a lot of that time away. And then by the time I finish an audiobook, I’ve got a line-up of podcasts that I’m behind on. It is what it is!
But for total reads, 5 more books than 2024 (39), and 16 less than 2023 (59). I still read every single night, but my book is possibly falling on top of my face a lot earlier than what it once did! I actually tore a page on one book this year, when my hand still had a grip on the page, but the book fell forward 😆
Tell me how many of these you have read!
